所谓碳中性的概念,低碳绿色环保酒店
    坐落于上海胶州路的URBN酒店最早为中国带来了“碳中性”的概念。所谓碳中性,即是酒店消耗的全部能量,包括员工通勤、食品和饮料递送以及客人使用的各种能量,都被记录并累积计算的排放放量;之后,酒店将通过投资于中国的绿色能源发展和减少排放项目,以购买积分来中和其碳的排放量。酒店客人也可选择通过购买碳积分,来抵消他们飞行中的碳排放。比如,从北京坐飞机到上海,通过计算,所消耗的碳排放折合为25元人民币,酒店代客人将这25元投资到内蒙古某处的林场,来年,在内蒙古就会多出一颗用来碳补偿的树了。
    酒店是由1970年的一个邮局改造而来,内部多采用旧材料循环再利用。在外部窗外设计了一个花园,有参天大树和室外花园咖啡吧。外观设计里的竹竿则取自己种的竹林。进入酒店,大堂背景墙是由许多旧皮箱拼接形成,时髦且富有个性。个性的走廊墙壁其实就是由旧砖切片贴成,隔断墙也是瓦片经过设计后的累积,整体效果却是很棒。酒店的餐厅,循环再利用的绿色个性的装饰随处可见。客房室内柜子和地板都由回收木材制成,上面刷了环保漆。
    设计师在URBN的设计中加入了众多环保元素,除了四处回收旧地板、旧砖来做地面和墙面的装饰,VRBN还把房间定义为了“不穿鞋区”,因此免去了地毯,减少了洗涤剂带来的污染。此外,酒店业把浴缸从淋浴房“解放”出来,从而避免客人对水的浪费。另外,低能耗的各种电器、环保油漆、双层玻璃灯绿色元素随处可见。
    URBN的客房设计彻底打破了一般酒店的“标准间”概念,沉降式的沙发休闲区算得上是一种创新,围成一圈的长沙发可以轻松容纳十人以上。宽大低矮的双人床并没有靠墙放置,而是面对自然光摆放,四周留出了过道。跌宕起伏的线条让空间有了层次感,灯光的设计丰富而柔和。
    事实上,像VRBN这样富有个性、讲究酒店独特VI设计感,标榜量身定制的贴心服务的酒店已经遍布欧洲,但在中国还是新兴事物。因为在现价段,中国大多是依靠奢华品比如名牌和五星酒店的知名度来标榜自己的生活质量,所以环保酒店通常不是“生意人”或注重名声的人的选择。在社会发展中,中国很需要这种设计,前卫时髦有个性,看似豪华,但却是用最少环保的材料装修而成。简约但有档次的环保设计才能满足中国消费者的享受需求,又能同时达到环保的效果。
    国内首家推行“碳积分”购买政策的“碳中性”环保酒店CRBN落户上海。据介绍,该酒店一共有26个房间,通常一位来自美国西岸的顾客到酒店住宿,如果主动购买“碳积分”的话,需要支付的费用仅为数十元人民币,相对于酒店1000~3000元一晚的住宿费来说,似乎微不足道。然而,由于购买“碳积分”这一服务并不是强制性的,所以酒店开业至今,还没有客人主动掏钱购买。
    对此,VRBN酒店有关负责人分析:“购买‘碳积分’的客人之所以少的主要原因,一方面是‘碳积分’环保理念在公众中知晓度还不高,另一方面是入住的多为商务客,行程安排较劲。一些客人在前台可能只花费几分钟时间,退房手续办好后就马上离开了,工作人员可能也来不及详细讲解相关的服务。”
    由于环保型酒店在公众中的知晓度仍较低,多数人出行时仍选择上午型酒店。据一项针对环保型酒店的调查显示,几乎所有被调查者对环保理念都表示支持,其中大部分人表示会考虑在上午、旅游时选择环保型酒店,但是,多数人对环保型酒店的概念依然不清晰。
    在国外,类似以环保为理念的酒店也在逐步推行,如美国加利福尼亚州修建的GAIA酒店,这是世界上第一家被正式承认的黄金级环保建筑,而另一家较知名的Kandala—ma环保酒店则隐藏于斯里兰卡的森林深处......但是,打出“碳中性”招牌的酒店在全世界却屈指可数。
    有关专家表示,“碳中性”作为一种新兴的酒店服务形式,其所推广的环保理念在公众中的知晓度和认同均不高,加上这类酒店的价格相对于一般酒店更加昂贵,因此要让多数人认同这一理念还需要一个较长的过程。
